Whites youngster seals Rotherham switch

Rotherham have strengthened their defensive options after landing Leeds youngster Liam Darville on loan for the rest of the season. The 19-year-old spent a week training with the Millers recently and clearly impressed enough for manager Ronnie Moore to keep him until the summer. Darville is yet to make a first-team appearance for Leeds and is relishing the prospect of regular football with the League Two outfit. Rotherham are currently third and Darville is pleased to be joining a team in good form and competing for promotion.

"It'll be good to get some games in and hopefully that will stand me in good stead," Darville told Leeds' official website. "It's an added bonus with Rotherham being up there in the league. The spirit will be good and that will make it easier to go in. "I had a week there earlier in the season so I have met a lot of the lads briefly. "They seemed a good set of lads and I can't wait to get there."
