Spanish midfielder Marcos Tebar has had his Brentford contract terminated by mutual consent.
The 29-year-old signed for the Bees from Almeria last summer but managed six games last season and just one substitute appearance this term.
A club statement said: "He will now return to Spain ahead of the opening of the transfer window on January 2 2016."
