Defender signs two-year deal at Griffin Park
Brentford have raided League One rivals MK Dons to sign defender David McCracken for an undisclosed fee.
As revealed by skysports.com, Brentford boss Andy Scott had lined up a move for McCracken to bolster his defence.
The 28-year-old was a key player for the Dons last season after joining from Wycombe but has signed a two-year deal at Griffin Park after the clubs agreed a fee.
Dons manager Karl Robinson felt the deal made sense as he has enough cover in defence.
"With Sean O'Hanlon, Gary Mackenzie and Mathias Doumbe we feel we have strength in central defence and the offer from Brentford made good business sense," Robinson told the club's
official website.
