Plymouth Argyle boss Derek Adams is among the nominations for the Sky Bet League 2 Manager of the Month award for December, with his side top of the table.
Adams - who won the October award in the fourth tier - will be up against Gareth Ainsworth of Wycombe, Bristol Rovers boss Darrell Clarke and Shaun Derry of Cambridge.
Adams has enjoyed a fine month at Argyle, guiding them through their first sticky patch of the season as the injuries mounted, and then masterminding three wins out of four as the Devon side reclaimed top spot.
However, he faces stiff competition from the likes of Ainsworth, who led Wycombe to three wins over the busy Christmas period and back into the play-off positions.
And Bristol Rovers have also surged into the play-off zone after enjoying a great month under Clarke, collecting 13 points from five unbeaten games with a goal differential of 10-2.
Derry only took charge at Cambridge in November and now he has already been nominated for a manager of the month gong after the U's secured three wins and a draw in four games, including a 2-1 success at Plymouth.
The nominations for the December Player of the Month Award are Gareth Evans (Portsmouth), John Lundstram (Oxford United), Jason McCarthy (Wycombe) and Matty Taylor (Bristol Rovers).
Evans bagged four goals from his wide midfield berth in as many December games for promotion-chasing Pompey, as well as using his pace and crossing skill to create opportunities for others.
Another midfielder to have caught the eye is Lundstram, who arrived at Oxford from Everton in August. As well as impressing with his playmaking skills, the 21-year-old scored a fine goal during the 3-0 win over Exeter.
McCarthy played a big part in Wycombe's successful month, moving over from centre-back to full-back and linking up well with Michael Harriman down the right, as well as heading the winner against Oxford.
And Bristol Rovers striker Taylor has bagged his second nomination of the season, after leading the Pirates' charge up the table with a hat-trick against Wycombe, a goal and two assists against Dagenham, and the winner against York.
The winners will be announced on Friday 8 January.
