Accrington boosted their hopes of claiming one of the two remaining automatic promotion spots in League Two with a 3-0 win over York City that confirmed their opponents' relegation.

Tarique Fosu opened the scoring on 35 minutes before Josh Windass took his tally to 16 for the season with two goals on 69 and 90 minutes - the first a terrific volley from range.

The win kept John Coleman's side a point above third-placed Oxford, who eased to a 2-0 win over Hartlepool.

Northampton, who secured the title last week, extended their unbeaten run to 22 matches with a 1-1 draw at Yeovil, where Nicky Adams (35) cancelled out Harry Cornick's sixth-minute opener for the home side.
