Accrington boosted their hopes of claiming one of the two remaining automatic promotion spots in League Two with a 3-0 win over York City that confirmed their opponents' relegation.
Tarique Fosu opened the scoring on 35 minutes before Josh Windass took his tally to 16 for the season with two goals on 69 and 90 minutes - the first a terrific volley from range.
The win kept John Coleman's side a point above third-placed Oxford, who eased to a 2-0 win over Hartlepool.
But for York, their four-year stay in the Football League is over and they will join already relegated Dagenham & Redbridge in the National League next season.
Oxford had Kemar Roofe's early goal - his 26th of the season - to thank for settling their nerves, but they had to wait until stoppage time for Liam Sercombe to add a second and confirm the three points.
