Crawley have signed former West Ham and Oxford midfielder Josh Payne following his departure from National League side Eastleigh.
The 25-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Reds and becomes the fourth new arrival this summer following moves for Jason Banton, Enzio Boldewijn and Glenn Morris.
"Josh is a combative, energetic midfielder," Crawley head coach Dermot Drummy told the club's official website.
"I know how keen he is to embrace a new challenge back in the Football League here at Crawley."
