Swindon v Northampton preview

Veteran Swindon midfielder Matthew Taylor is in contention to face his former club Northampton after serving a one-match ban.

The 36-year-old missed the midweek defeat at Crewe after he was sent off in the closing stages of Town's goalless draw against Oldham last month. Kaiyne Woolery is back in training following a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury but this match will come too soon for him.

Ellis Iandolo is pushing for a place in the starting XI after the substitute came close to scoring a late equaliser in Tuesday's 1-0 loss, hitting the post in the closing stages.

New Northampton boss Keith Curle will have an unchanged squad to pick from for his first away game at the helm. The Cobblers, who sit 21st in Sky Bet League Two, held Bury to a 0-0 draw in Curle's first match in charge on Tuesday.

And the former Carlisle boss has no fresh injury concerns for the trip. Dean Bowditch is among those who will be looking to return to the starting line-up after stepping off the bench in the second half against the Shakers.
