Hartlepool have signed veteran defender Rob Jones on a deal until the end of the season.
Boss Craig Hignett was keen to add an old head to his back-line, and at 36, former Doncaster centre-back Jones fits the bill.
Jones, who was born in Stockton, was released by Rovers at the start of February and has been training with Pools for the last two weeks.
He goes straight into into the squad for this weekend's clash at Barnet.
