Hartlepool have signed teenage striker Jake Orrell from Chesterfield.
Orrell has put pen to paper on an undisclosed deal after turning down the offer of a new contract from Chesterfield.
The 18-year-old becomes Pools boss Craig Hignett's fourth summer signing following the recent arrivals of Ben Pollock, James Martin and Nicky Deverdics.
Orrell progressed through Sunderland's academy and had a spell at Gateshead before being offered his first professional contract by Chesterfield, where he made four first-team appearances. His younger brother Lewis has joined Hartlepool's youth team.
