Lee determined to keep Herivelto
The Saddlers manager is not prepared to let the South American leave - even on loan - despite being out of action in recent matches.
The 27-year-old was in fine form for Walsall reserves recently and was watched by several clubs, which reportedly included Oxford United manager Ian Atkins.
Lee stated that Herivelto was forced to return to Brazil with a family problem and that the off-field distraction has affected his performances of late.
However, the Bescot Stadium boss told the Evening Mail he is still determined to keep the midfielder and sees him very much a figure in his future plans.
Lee said: "He has had a further set-back today, even though he has played well.
"We have certainly not turned our backs on the boy and he knows that he is part of what we are trying to do.
"We have a few inquiries every so often for him, but if he plays like that (in the reserves), he is not going anywhere."
Meanwhile, Walsall owner Jeff Bonser has revealed that he is cut ticket prices next season in an attempt to attract more supporters to the Bescot Stadium.
The Saddlers chief is aiming to make the new Purple Stand the cheapest in Division One while also reducing prices for the regular supporters as well.
He told the Express & Star that he is determined to follow through with his bold attempt to attract more fans, despite the current state of finances in football at present.
Bonser said: "We are going to announce something to make this new stand more affordable to supporters.
"It is going to be one of the cheapest stands in the First Division.
"I can assure fans that they are going to be paying less to sit on that lower tier than they were to stand there this season.
"Everyone attending the stadium at the moment will be paying substantially less than they have paid this season.
"There may be people out there who perhaps couldn't afford to come before.
"We are going to sit down with a blank piece of paper and work out prices that will hopefully encourage new support.
"We will also be making very good incentives for children and families because they are the future of the club."
