MK Dons U15s beat Barcelona U15s 3-0 in front of more than 4,000 fans at Stadium:MK on Sunday.

Academy prospects Jay Bird, Recoe Martin and Leon Taylor got the goals is searing temperatures.

Bird curled in a superb finish from 20 yards four minutes into the match before Martin made it 2-0 just after the break when he latched onto a through-ball and finished past Arnau Tenas.

Barcelona went close to pulling a goal back on 53 minutes when goalkeeper Alfie Jones saved from Arnau Vilamitjana.

But Taylor made it 3-0 to the Dons in the closing stages when he drilled home from 15 yards out following a corner.
