Lincoln's experienced striker Drewe Broughton has heaped praise on Ashley Grimes for firing the club's survival bid.
The Imps have lost just once in six games, a run which has seen them soar from the foot of the table and create a nine-point buffer between themselves and the drop zone.
Grimes, on loan from Millwall, has been in sensational form since joining in October, notching nine times in 13 starts and Broughton told
skysports.com that his arrival was a masterstroke from manager Steve Tilson.
"He has been fantastic and that is what you need when the chips are down, a player who can create a goal out of nothing," he said.
"We had something similar here last season when Davide Somma came in from Leeds and there is no substitute for that.

"He has got a lot of quality on both feet and his finishing is fantastic, as proven by his strike against Port Vale recently.
"He only needs half a chance and he will score, so it was a great find by the gaffer to bring him in.
"His strike partnership with Delroy Facey up front is the reason why I have had to sit on the bench and they have both been playing really well so I can't complain too much."
The Imps' survival hopes have been given a huge boost in recent weeks, but Broughton insists that no-one can rest on their laurels just yet.
"The mood around the club has completely changed because four straight defeats (before their recent good run) can get anyone down and it is all credit to the boys for dealing with that pressure and managing to turn it round.
"There are still plenty of twists and turns left to go, but the table looks a lot healthier for us now than it did three weeks ago."
