Stockport County have announced the signing of defender Mansour Assoumani. The Frenchman has been on trial with the Hatters during pre-season and has sufficiently impressed manager Paul Simpson. Stockport have acted by rewarding 27-year-old Assoumani with a contract, making him Simpson's fifth signing. Assoumani's last club was Wrexham, where he tallied 40 league appearances.
