Dickson back for hosts as Tully returns for Grecians

Bristol Rovers can recall Chris Dickson for the clash against Exeter City, who welcome back Steve Tully. Dickson was ineligible to play against his parent club Charlton last Tuesday and manager Paul Trollope will have to decide whether to bring the forward back into the side, or keep faith with his replacement Daryl Duffy. The Rovers boss could also hand a recall to Carl Regan. The full-back was only on the bench for the clash with the Addicks following his return from suspension, but could be handed a starting role after Rovers shipped four goals at the Valley. Fellow defender Aaron Lescott misses out again as he continues to recover from a groin injury. Having not played for four weeks, he has begun light training and is thought to be seven to 10 days away from a return.

Exeter news

Exeter are boosted by the return from suspension of Tully ahead of their derby at the Memorial Stadium. Tully was ruled out of the 4-3 FA Cup defeat against MK Dons at the weekend, with Richard Duffy deputising at right-back in his absence. However, Duffy is an injury doubt ahead of Tuesday's game after limping out of Saturday's fixture with a thigh injury. He was replaced at stadium:mk by on-loan Tottenham defender Troy Archibald-Henville, but Tully is expected to reclaim his place against Rovers. Striker Adam Stansfield is pushing for a starting berth after he scored for a third successive game following his second-half introduction at the weekend. Stansfield came on for Stuart Fleetwood and may now be handed a start ahead of the on-loan Charlton forward, while Barry Corr is a slight worry. Goalkeeper Paul Jones, who has been out through injury since August, will feature for the reserves on Tuesday rather than be in the first-team squad.
