Striker does not have a preference regarding his future

Former Bristol Rovers striker Darryl Duffy has not ruled out the possibility of playing abroad if the option becomes available. The Scottish forward has spent most of his career in England, with spells at Hull City, Swansea and Bristol Rovers, plus loans with Hartlepool and Carlisle. But Duffy started out in his homeland with Rangers and Raith Rovers before returning last season for a loan stint with Hibernian. However, with the 27-year-old weighing up his options after leaving recently-relegated Bristol Rovers, he told skysports.com that he is open to offers from both home and overseas. He said: "I'm open to moving anywhere, to be honest, with England, Scotland or even abroad good options for me if they became available to me. "I don't have a preference either way and my wife has backed me in that respect because we do have a son to think about when making these decisions. "It has been pretty quiet so far this summer, but most players and managers are either on holiday or still busy, with the play-offs and European Championship qualifiers and play-offs just finishing. "I've managed to recharge my batteries for the past few weeks and now I'm just building up my fitness in the gym and looking forward to the new season, wherever I may be."
