Skysports.com understands Bristol Rovers forward Jo Kuffour is to join Gillingham on loan.
It is believed that the 29-year-old will head to Priestfield on a deal that will run until Christmas.
Kuffour has started just three games for Rovers this season and is keen to find first team football.
He is also eager to catch the eye with his current contract with the Pirates set to expire at the end of the season.
Kuffour is a player with considerable Football League experience, having taken in spells at Torquay, Brentford and Bournemouth.
He has scored goals wherever he has been and Gillingham hope the former Arsenal trainee will help to cement their top-seven standing in League Two.
