Peterborough striker Marcus Maddison has alleged that an opponent spat at him during the League One game against Plymouth on Saturday.
Peterborough began their campaign with a 2-1 win at the ABAX Stadium but after the game Maddison took to Twitter to say:

Maddison appeared to upset Plymouth players when he stayed down claiming a foul in the build up to the visitor's goal in the 76 minute. He received treatment at the time.
