Notts County vs Grimsby preview
Friday 26 April 2019 12:23, UK
Notts County will be without Ben Barclay as they look to take their League Two survival fight to the final day with victory over Grimsby.
The defender is suspended after receiving a red card in the 54th minute of County's 1-1 draw at Crawley on Easter Monday. Striker Kane Hemmings, who has scored 13 goals this season, could return after missing the trip to Crawley through injury.
Experienced defender Elliott Ward will not feature for County, who are two points from safety with two games remaining, as another appearance triggers a contract extension.
Harry Cardwell has been ruled out for Grimsby. The striker has an ankle issue and will join Kristian Dennis on the sidelines.
On-loan Notts County forward Dennis, who could not feature against his parent club on Saturday anyway, will not play again this season due to a hip injury. Midfielder Jordan Cook is rated as 50/50 to be fit, while defender Danny Collins serves out his two-match suspension.
