Grimsby vs Macclesfield preview
Thursday 2 April 2020 12:08, UK
Grimsby's Andrew Fox will miss Saturday's Sky Bet League Two clash with Macclesfield through suspension.
The left-back saw red in just the third minute of the FA Cup defeat to Crystal Palace. But Town have strengthened in the week with Ludvig Ohman joining from IF Brommapojkarna - the second Swedish defender to sign in this window after Sebastian Ring - while midfielder Elliot Embleton has extended his loan from Sunderland.
A number of players remain out, with Danny Collins, Akin Famewo, Harry Davis and Alex Whitmore all missing the Palace match.
Macclesfield will welcome Harry Smith back from a suspension, with the striker missing the last three matches. Sol Campbell must check on the fitness of Ryan Lloyd after he was forced off against Swindon last week after being on the wrong end of a nasty challenge.
He is doubtful along with Elliott Durrell (knee), Ryan Taylor (hip) and Callum Evans (ankle). Young forward Jordan Ponticelli has returned to parent club Coventry at end of his loan.
