Kevin Nugent has been sacked by Barnet after only two months in charge of the Sky League Two club.

Nugent won just one of his 11 matches after succeeding Martin Allen as Barnet manager on February 15.

The 2-1 defeat at Exeter on Good Friday left Barnet in 16th place, nine points above the relegation zone with four matches to play.

The 48-year-old's assistant, Rossi Eames, has been placed in caretaker control for the Easter Monday clash against Wycombe.
