Bulls defender may move to a higher division
Hereford boss Simon Davey has confirmed that Richard Rose is the subject of interest from a club in a higher division.
The former Gillingham defender impressed with the Bulls last season, making 25 league appearances for the League Two club as they finished in 16th position.
Davey, who has just moved to the club after abruptly leaving Darlington, has made one of his first acts to offer the 27-year-old, who has been with the club since 2006, a new deal to remain at Edgar Street.
However, he is unsure of Rose's ambitions for the future following interest in his services, with Davey confirming he will enter further talks with the player next week.
"I am due to speak to him again on Monday but he has an offer from another club and that club is in a higher division," Davey said.
"So it would be understandable if he did decide to move on.
"But we have to make sure we are in the ball park with him to see if he can stay at the football club."
