Bury have re-named the Main Stand at Gigg Lane “The Neville Neville Stand” in honour of their long-time club stalwart.
Neville, father of Gary, Phil and Tracey, passed away in August at the age of 65 while in Australia.
A former league cricketer, Neville served as a commercial manager, director and club ambassador for Bury. He also acted as an agent for his sons during their playing careers.
Bury chairman Stewart Day announced the news at a lunch in Neville's honour, which was attended by widow Jill along with Tracey and Gary.
"If it wasn't for Nev, quite simply Bury FC wouldn't be here today and there could be no more fitting tribute than to have the Neville Neville Stand as a permanent reminder of the enormous contribution he made to this club," said the Shakers' Chairman.
"This honour is, quite frankly, nothing more than Nev deserves. His legacy lives on every time we play a game, and the Neville Neville Stand will also ensure that his name will forever remain at the heart of the club he fought successfully to save."
