Former England goalkeeper Chris Kirkland signs for Bury

Sky Bet League One side Bury have signed former England goalkeeper Chris Kirkland on a one-year contract.
The 35-year-old started his career at Coventry before enjoying spells with Liverpool, West Brom, Wigan, Leicester, Doncaster, Sheffield Wednesday and Preston.
Despite having a trial with Bury ahead of last season, Kirkland chose to join Simon Grayson at Deepdale and made five appearances before being released at the end of the campaign.
