Wrexham have completed the permanent signing of midfielder Sam Aiston.
The 31-year-old had been on loan at the Racecourse Ground after falling out of favour at Northampton.
The former Sunderland man made eight league appearances for Wrexham during his six-week stay with the club.
Wrexham will now retain Aiston's services for the remainder of the campaign after sealing a free transfer switch.
With the Welsh outfit struggling at the bottom of the table, Aiston's permanent capture comes as a welcome boost.
