Dale host Vale; Cherries welcome Shakers

League Two leaders Rochdale play host to Port Vale, whilst chasers Bournemouth take on promotion hopefuls Bury. Keith Hill's Rochdale look to keep distance between themselves and Bournemouth at the top when they welcome Port Vale to Spotland. Dale have won nine of their 12 games on home soil, including their last four, whilst Vale are creeping up the table having bounced back from defeat to Morecambe with a point against Northampton followed by a win at Grimsby. Second-place Bournemouth have a battle of their own. Having suffered defeat at the hands of Northampton last time out, they now prepare to take on a Bury side who are closing in on promotion and have a decent away record, winning nearly 50 per cent of their games on the road this term. Rotherham have not played since 12th December and will be no doubt keen to get back in action against Accrington Stanley where John Coleman's side have won just one of their last four games. One side that appear to be on the up are promotion hopefuls Shrewsbury who travel to Burton off the back of two successive League wins.

Promotion chase

Notts County have won three of their last four games leading into Saturday's trip to Valley Parade where Bradford have won just three League games this season. Level on points with County, Dagenham will be hoping to get their promotion chase back on track following back-to-back defeats against Northampton and Cheltenham - they'll not have it easy, though, against a Crewe side that suffered their first defeat in seven league games against Macclesfield last time out on 28th December. Another team in decent form are Aldershot who have lost only one of their last six league games (four of which they have won), standing them in good stead for their trip to the Northern Echo Arena where Darlington have lost seven of their 10 games this season, including their last two. Chesterfield have lost five of their last six games after a promising start this season but will be hoping to get back to winning ways at Saltergate - they will be looking to add to their tally of nine wins on home soil against strugglers Torquay whose only league win on the road came at Burton last August. Having distanced themselves from the drop zone, Northampton travel to Moss Rose on Saturday where Macclesfield have lost just one of their last six games. Elsewhere, strugglers Grimsby and Cheltenham go head to head at Blundell Park - the Mariners are without a win in 13 league games, with the Robins notching just one win in six heading in to Saturday's clash.
