Harrad & Pearson keep Burton's hopes alive

Shaun Harrad scored his 17th goal of the campaign to keep Burton's play-off hopes alive with a 2-0 win at Accrington. The striker slotted home in the 27th minute after winger Cleveland Taylor had done all the hard work on the right and fired in a low cross for Harrad to convert from eight yards. And Burton made it safe 11 minutes from time when Greg Pearson raced through from a goalkick and slotted the ball into the bottom of the net. Albion battled hard for the win in driving rain as Stanley's hopes of closing in on the top seven took a knock.
