Skysports.com understands that Macclesfield Town youngster Vinny Mukendi is attracting interest from the Premier League.
Mukendi, who has Congolese roots, joined Macc's youth academy on a scholarship in 2008.
The 18-year-old striker is a dominant figure standing at 6ft 6" tall, and is very highly-rated by Town.
His emergence into their first-team has not gone unnoticed with at least one Premier League club known to be actively monitoring Mukendi, while a number of Championship clubs are also thought to be keeping close tabs on him.
Silkmen boss Gary Simpson has previously stated his belief that Mukendi could have a huge future ahead of him.
"The lad has a big future if he keeps his feet on the ground, keeps learning and keeps doing what he's told. He's got a big future ahead of him," said Simpson.
