David Graham struck twice to give Torquay a win over Cheltenham Town.
The striker, who has attracted the interest of Plymouth Argyle in recent times, scored on 51 and 68. Damien Spencer had equalised in between Graham's double but Alex Russell made the result safe for Leroy Rosenior's side with a goal four minutes from the end.
Boston United enjoyed a good home victory over Leyton Orient at York Road.
Graeme Jones scored on 24 minutes to make it 1-0 and Neil Redfearn netted two in the last ten minutes to give the final scoreline a somewhat flattering look.
Bury came back from one down to win 2-1 at Bristol Rovers. Youngster Lewis Haldane had scored first for Rovers on 57 but an Adam Barrett own goal on 70 and a Joe O'Neill strike in injury time meant the visitors left with all three points.
Kidderminster Harriers gave returning boss Jan Molby a boost when Matthew Gadsby scored the only goal of the game on 35 minutes at Rochdale.
