League Two Weekend Preview
Walsall play Bristol Rovers as bottom clubs Torquay and Macclesfield do battle.
Walsall will hope to extend their lead at the top of the league when mid-table Bristol Rovers visit The Bescot Stadium for the last set of fixtures of 2006.
Second-placed MK Dons, meanwhile, will be paying their first-ever visit to The Saunders Honda Stadium to take on Chester as they look to gain promotion back into League One at the first time of asking.
But the biggest clash is at the foot of the table, where Torquay and Macclesfield - who occupy the bottom two places - play each other in a game that could see the victors climb out of the relegation zone.

Hereford v Wrexham - (Home 10/11 Draw 9/4 Away 5/2)
Hereford are favourites for their early kick-off game against struggling Wrexham despite having lost 1-0 when they visited The Racecourse Ground in September.
Defender Dean Beckwith is still suspended for Hereford, with Richard Rose expected to provide cover, while Alan Connell, Tim Sills and Stuart Fleetwood will compete for places up front, and Andy Williams may return to provide further competition.
Wrexham boss Denis Smith is expecting an improvement after his side's disappointing performance in the 2-2 draw with Rochdale on Boxing Day, and will be able to call upon Wales international defender Steve Evans again after he completed a four-game suspension.
Skysports.com prediction: 1-0
Accrington v Mansfield - (Home 6/4 Draw 11/5 Away 6/4)
Accrington will be looking to widen their three-point advantage over the bottom two with a win over fellow strugglers Mansfield, but will have to do so without young defender Danny Ventre (fractured tibia) and striker Andy Mangan, who is still suspended after his red card in the 4-0 loss to Bristol Rovers.
Billy Dearden will be taking charge of Mansfield for the first time since returning for a second spell as manager, and may be able to call upon former Forest centre-back Jon Olav Hjelde and Danny Reet if they recover from illness, although Matty Hamshaw (hamstring) is a doubt.
Skysports.com prediction: 0-1
Barnet v Bury - (Home 13/10 Draw 11/5 Away 7/4)
Mid-table Barnet will look to leapfrog Bury with a victory at Underhill, and will be boosted by the news that fit-again captain Ian Hendon should return to defensive duties, but they will have to contend with the loss of left-back Adam Gross as they go in search of a fourth successive victory.
Bury boss Chris Casper has no injury worries ahead of the trip south and will hope to get back to winning ways after a defeat to Hartlepool and a draw with Accrington Stanley over the festive period.
Skysports.com prediction: 1-1
Chester v MK Dons - (Home 7/4 Draw 11/5 Away 5/4)
Former England Under-19 international Laurence Wilson will be missing after his sending-off in the 3-0 defeat to Macclesfield, but Chester should be able to field an otherwise full-strength team.
MK Dons, who have won their last five games, will be seeking revenge for the 2-1 defeat when the sides met in September and look set to remain unchanged from the 2-0 Boxing Day win over bottom-of-the-league Torquay.
Skysports.com prediction: 0-1
Darlington v Shrewsbury - (Home evens Draw 9/4 Away 9/4)
Darlington boss Dave Penney faces a nightmare scenario as the flu epidemic that kept four players out of their Boxing Day clash with Mansfield worsens.
Having lost their last five league games, Darlington will be forced to field youth team players for the game again as the crisis continues unabated.
Shrewsbury, who have lost their last two games, are waiting for late fitness checks on defender Richard Hope (calf) and striker Derek Asamoah (ankle).
Skysports.com prediction: 0-3
Hartlepool v Peterborough - (Home 10/11 Draw 9/4 Away 5/2)
Hartlepool will hope to extend their three-point lead over fellow promotion chasers Peterborough at Victoria Park.
After six consecutive victories in the league, Hartlepool are hoping to break their all-time record by recording eight in a row, and have not conceded a goal in almost 10 hours.
But they will have to do without defender Michael Nelson (knee ligaments) and strikers Jon Daly (suspension), Michael Proctor (knee) and Joel Porter (knee) for the game.
Peterborough go into the match having lost their last three, but have only goalkeeper Mark Tyler (ankle) on the absentee list, with Paul Rachubka set to keep his place.
Skysports.com prediction: 2-1
Lincoln v Wycombe - (Home evens Draw 9/4 Away 9/4)
Third-place Lincoln should name the same side that recorded two victories over the holiday period as only defender Paul Mayo (groin) is absent.
But Lincoln boss John Schofield is wary of the encounter with the Carling Cup semi-finalists, who will be without defenders Will Antwi (suspension) and Sam Stockley (hamstring), while midfielder Sergio Torres and goalkeeper Frank Talia remain sidelined with long-term problems.
Skysports.com prediction: 0-0
Rochdale v Boston - (Home 5/4 Draw 9/4 Away 7/4)
Rochdale will be desperate to record a victory to avoid slipping down a place into the relegation zone as the bottom two sides, Torquay and Macclesfield, play out a six-pointer at Plainmoor.
Rochdale could be boosted by the return of left-back Mark Jackson, while Boston welcome striker Drewe Broughton back from suspension.
But Boston will have to do without midfielders Simon Rusk (knee) and Stewart Talbot (calf), and defender Mark Greaves (hamstring) is also a doubt.
Skysports.com prediction: 1-1
Stockport v Grimsby - (Home evens Draw 9/4 Away 10/3)
Stockport will be without Keith Briggs for around four months after he broke his leg in the 2-0 Boxing Day win over Notts County, but Jason Taylor should return after missing the match with an ankle problem. Rob Clare (knee), Adam Le Fondre (ankle) and Tes Bramble (groin) are all doubtful, too.
Grimsby will be hoping to take strides towards the top half, and will be boosted by the return of Gary Jones from suspension as well as fit-again Justin Whittle, Paul Bolland and Michael Reddy.
Skysports.com prediction: 0-0
Swindon v Notts County - (Home 8/11 Draw 9/4 Away 10/3)
Swindon will look to break into the top three, but will have to do so without Paul Evans and Curtis Weston, who are both suffering from ankle problems, while Andy Caton and Ashan Holgate are also set to miss out and goalkeeper Paul Brezovan is not ready to return after breaking his arm in October.
Play-off challengers Notts County could see returns for Lawrie Dudfield and Stephen Hunt.
Skysports.com prediction: 1-0
Torquay v Macclesfield - (Home 11/8 Draw 11/5 Away 13/8)
The bottom clubs play one another as they bid to escape the relegation zone at Plainmoor, with Torquay having to field 20-year-old keeper Martin Horsell after first-choice Nathan Abbey could not agree a contract extension at the club.
Paul Ince is hoping to steer Macclesfield to a third successive victory, but suspended midfielder Jamie Tolley joins long-term injury victims Jonny Brain, Andrew Teague and Jimmy McNulty (all broken leg) on the absentee list.
Skysports.com prediction: 0-2
Walsall v Bristol Rovers - (Home 8/13 Draw 12/5 Away 4/1)
League leaders Walsall are without striker Tommy Wright following his red card against Shrewsbury, while midfielders Dean Keates (thigh) and Darren Wrack (hamstring) appear doubtful.
Bristol Rovers' Sean Rigg is unlikely to return from his broken jaw, but manager Paul Trollope believes his players are capable of securing an upset at The Bescot Stadium.
Skysports.com prediction: 3-1
