Former Rangers striker Nacho Novo is recovering in a Berlin hospital after suffering a suspected heart attack.
Novo felt unwell after playing for a Rangers legends side in a sixes tournament in Germany - the AOK Traditions Masters - and was subsequently taken to hospital.
The 38-year-old, who reached the Uefa Cup final in 2008 with the Scottish side, has had emergency surgery and is understood to be recovering well but is expected to stay in hospital for the rest of the week.
Rangers have confirmed that Novo is in a stable condition. In a statement on their official website, the club said: "Everyone at the club wishes Nacho a speedy recovery."
Novo, also a former Dundee and Sporting Gijon player, won three Scottish Premiership titles, one Scottish Cup, two Scottish League Cup victories during his six seasons at Ibrox.
The Spaniard, who played at Ibrox between 2004-10 and scored 47 goals, most recently played for Glentoran last season.
