Greenock Morton manager Jim Duffy departs after four years

Greenock Morton are looking for a new manager after confirming on Sunday that Jim Duffy has left his post.
The club started this season with high hopes, with Duffy having been named Championship manager of the year 12 months ago after leading them into the play-offs, but they struggled badly for consistency in 2017-18.
Their season ended on Saturday with a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to Inverness and Duffy's departure came after talks with the club's new chairman Crawford Rae, who only took over from his father Douglas earlier this weekend.
Duffy had been with the club since May 2014, having previously managed Falkirk, Dundee, Hibernian, Brechin and Clyde.
A club statement read: "We would like to thank Jim for his hard work and commitment to the club over the course of his four seasons here at Cappielow and wish him the very best of luck in his future career.
"The board of directors will now focus on identifying and recruiting the right person to take Morton forward. The club will make no additional comment at this time but will provide further updates as soon as possible."
