Clarkson and Reynolds agree extensions at Fir Park

Motherwell youngsters David Clarkson and Mark Reynolds have signed contract extensions at Fir Park. Clarkson, 22, is approaching 200 appearances for the club and the striker has chipped in with four goals this season. He has agreed a new two-and-a-half year deal to commit himself to the SPL side until 2010. Defender Reynolds, 20, has accepted a 12-month extension to his contract and is now tied to Well until 2011. Well manager Mark McGhee was buoyed by the youngsters' decision to pledge their futures to the club. "I am absolutely delighted that we've got both lads to commit on a longer-term basis," McGhee told the club's official website. "We're trying to build a good, young dynamic squad at Motherwell and Reynolds and Clarkson have been integral to what we've achieved so far."
