Scotland star not looking for move despite bench role
Kris Boyd has admitted he is frustrated with his super-sub role at Rangers - but says he wants to remain at Ibrox for the rest of his career.
While Rangers have been enjoying success in the league and Europe, the Scotland striker has found himself out of Walter Smith's first-choice line-up.
But, although he admits he is unhappy with the current situation, he insists he has absolutely no intention of leaving the club.
"Look, the team has been winning so nobody can say the gaffer has got it wrong," he told the Daily Record. "I certainly am not saying that.
"But I don't think he or anybody else at the club would be happy if I wasn't frustrated.
"Of course I'm frustrated. I want to play. If somebody is happy just sitting on the bench, he shouldn't be there.
"But although I'm not happy about not getting a game, that doesn't mean I want away.
"I wanted to be part of a squad that is winning things and hopefully come the end of the season we'll have done that.
"I'm committed to Rangers and I want to be at Rangers for the rest of my life. I'm happy here."
