Saturday's Scottish Premiership game between Ross County and Partick Thistle has been postponed.

The Scottish Professional Football League agreed to County's request for a postponement after overnight storms caused power failures in the Dingwall area.

A statement on the Ross County website said: "The match will be rearranged after discussions with Partick Thistle and the SPFL."

The Highlands have been battered by storm-force winds and increasingly wintry conditions over the past 48 hours, with conditions worsening on Friday night following a brief respite during daylight hours.

And there were problems elsewhere in Scotland as Raith's Championship game against Queen of the South and the Division Two game between Arbroath and Albion were also called off.
