Berwick Rangers face Hibs in Scottish Cup last eight after 1-0 win over Spartans

Berwick Rangers striker Darren Lavery scored the only goal of the game to end Spartans' interest in this year's William Hill Scottish Cup.
The home side were forced to delay the kick-off by 15 minutes to allow the 2,003 crowd to cram into Sheilfield Park.
The Lowland League champions made light of the delay and looked lively early on although Kevin Motion and Jack Beesley failed to trouble home keeper Billy Bald when missing the target from the edge of the area.
However, Spartans fell behind in the 29th minute when Lavery reacted first to volley home a Paul Willis corner from eight yards out for his 14th goal of the season.
Willis and Lavery had chances to put the game beyond the visitors before Spartans substitute Errol Douglas came close to taking the game into extra time when hitting the bar with time almost up.
After the match, Berwick Rangers player-manager Colin Cameron told Sky Sports News HQ: "We are obviously delighted to be in the quarter-finals and a fantastic tie against Hibs at Easter Road.
"This is one the boys have worked hard to get to but I have to say Spartans deserve a lot of credit as they battled for the full 90 minutes and we really had to knuckle down.
"It wasn't pretty, it was one of those games where we have played the least amount of football, but the most important thing was for us to get through."
Spartans manager Dougie Samuel admitted he was 'hugely disappointed' to have missed out on an Edinburgh derby with Alan Stubbs' side on March 8.
"The reward was so great but the players can look back on this cup run and take a huge amount of satsifaction for the amount of joy they have brought to the community of north Edinburgh and the Spartans family as a whole."
