Celtic manager Ronny Deila plans clear-the-air talks with his players insisting he fully understands the frustrations of the club's supporters.
Deila watched his side draw 0-0 at home against Dundee on Wednesday night, allowing Aberdeen, who beat Dundee United 1-0 at Tannadice, to close the gap at the top to just four points.
The Celtic fans vented their disappointment at the end, booing the team off the pitch at the final whistle.
"I really understand the fans' reaction, but it's also important that we do this together," said the Norwegian.
"Every time we come out and play, they stand behind us and they will do that in the future.
"The performances lately have not been good enough to get the points we need to have, so that's the most important thing now, to get back on track."
Ahead of Sunday's Scottish Cup quarter-final against Morton, live on Sky Sports 2, Deila stated his intention to meet with the players but also stressed they are in a strong position to win their fifth successive title.
"We need to clear the air and agree how we go forward," he said. "At the moment we have to solve different issues on the pitch, so we get the rhythm into play again.
"The situation is that we are four points ahead. We have 10 games left and it's a lot to play for. We can see the end now, and we can see a trophy there."
Goalkeeper Craig Gordon also echoed his manager's sentiments, telling Sky Sports News HQ he hopes the fans can be patient with the team.
"It's not a great situation, but we ask the fans to be patient and let the players try and put it right," said the Scotland international.
"We know it's difficult to watch and the fans let us know that last night. It's up to us to stick together - if we can give them some football to get behind, then I'm sure they will get behind us again."
