Celtic remain hopeful of re-signing Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts this summer, according to assistant manager Chris Davies.
The 20-year old excelled during his 18-month spell at Celtic Park, scoring 17 goals in 60 appearances for Brendan Rodgers' side.
He helped Celtic complete a domestic treble last season, and Davies has confirmed the club is in "constant dialogue" with the exciting winger.
"They have been talking and the situation is always open to a certain extent because the transfer window is still open," Davies said.
"Patrick is someone we really enjoyed working with and there is obviously always going to be home here for Patrick if that suits everybody.
"The exact situation for Pat and Man City will be between him and the club at the moment."
Roberts, who has been the subject of much speculation regarding his future this summer, has featured under Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola in pre-season.
The England U20 international came on as a substitute against Real Madrid on July 27 before playing 19 minutes versus West Ham in Iceland on Friday.
However, assistant manager Davies is confident a deal can be should it benefit all parties,
"All I know is we value and rate the player and I am sure that if is right for everybody then something will be done, but we can't really control that at the moment," he added.
"There is constant dialogue really.
"He his playing for Manchester City so I can't comment too much on it.
"All I can tell you from my side and speaking for the manager is how much we enjoyed working with him and the rest will take care of itself."
