Celtic target Christian Wilhelmsson feels he is ready to leave Anderlecht for a bigger European league. The Sweden international impressed Bhoys observers while playing for his country against Scotland last month.
Wilhelmsson, who joined the Belgian side in 2003 from Stabaek, is keen to feature in a more prominent league than the Jupiler League.
The 25-year-old is contracted to Anderlecht until 2007 but is looking for a move in either the January transfer window or the summer.
The winger admits he is aiming to heed the advice of Celtic legend, and compatriot, Henrik Larsson by transferring his talents to a bigger stage.
"Italy, Spain, England and France are in my reach," claimed Wilhelmsson.
"I thought I had to play at Anderlecht for three years before going on to a higher level but I feel I can make that step now.
"Henrik Larsson has advised me to find a higher level."
