Defender determined to impress Bayern
Bayern Munich manager Louis van Gaal has given Edson Braafheid a second chance to shine with the Bundesliga giants.
The 27-year-old defender was signed from FC Twente last summer, but he failed to impress the Allianz Arena faithful.
After falling out of favour, and in an attempt to boost confidence, he finished the second half of the season on loan with Celtic.
Hasty
Braafheid made 10 SPL appearances for the Bhoys and now admits he might have been hasty in moving away on loan.
"I had a good conversation with the coach and I am going to get another chance," he told the Dutch newspaper
TC Tubantia.
"In hindsight, I probably left Bayern a bit too quickly. I should have taken a bit more time to get used to being abroad."
