Bhoys midfielder calms fixture worries
Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley admits they face a crucial week in their chase for silverware.
The Bhoys take on Inverness in their rearranged Scottish Cup quarter-final on Wednesday after their original meeting was postponed on Sunday.
Four days later they face Old Firm rivals Rangers in the Co-operative Insurance Cup final and Ledley admits the next two games will go a long way to defining their season.
"We've got a very important week in terms of our overall season," Ledley told the club's
official website.
"There are two massive games in one week, the quarter-final of one cup and the final of another.
"We'll have to prepare ourselves mentally to go in and give them both 100%.
"But with the players we've got in the team at the moment, I think we can achieve what we want to achieve."
Unconcerned
Ledley has brushed aside concerns that the postponement of the clash against Inverness will affect their chances in the two games.
"It was very disappointing, especially as we'd travelled up the day before," he said.
"We could see on the journey it was going to be a doubt straight away.
"We went to the ground on Saturday though and there was no snow at all so that gave us a bit of hope.
"But obviously it continued all through the day and night and it made the pitch unplayable.
"I don't think it will affect us though because we came straight back home in the morning and we got to rest on Sunday.
"We're back training today and I don't think it's hurt us one bit."
