Celtic unable to shed light on plans for Danish striker

Celtic striker Morten Rasmussen is still no clearer regarding where his future lies. The Denmark international returned to his homeland in February on a loan stint with AaB Aarhus. The Danish side are said to be in talks over a permanent deal for the 26-year-old this summer although neither Rasmussen nor Aarhus have confirmed those rumours. And while Celtic insist they have had enquiries about the out-of-favour frontman, they have refused to name the interested parties. "There's not much that we can say about Morten," a spokesman for the Scottish club told Danish website SPN.DK. "The only thing that we can say is that there are clubs that have shown interest but we are not in a position where we can reveal which clubs they are." Celtic manager Neil Lennon is currently on holiday and has not yet confirmed what his plans are for Rasmussen. The tall striker joined Celtic on a three-and-a-half-year deal from Brondby in January 2010 and scored three goals in 11 games before being sent on loan to German side Mainz and Aarhus last term.
