Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley is in talks regarding a contract extension

Joe Ledley has revealed that he is in discussions regarding an extension to his current contract at Celtic.

Ledley is aware that some may have questioned his ambition when he left Cardiff City for Celtic as a free agent two years ago, but he hopes the success he has enjoyed in Glasgow has helped to silence those critics. He added: "I could have maybe gone to a Premier League team and just sat in mid-table. I didn't want that. "I like winning games, I want to win things and play in the best competition in the world, the Champions League."
