Celtic have completed the signing of Croatian defender Jozo Simunovic from Dinamo Zagreb on a five-year contract.

The 21-year-old arrives at Parkhead after Virgil van Dijk made a deadline day move to Southampton.

Simunovic, a Croatia U21 international, made 52 appearances for Zagreb in the last two seasons, scoring three goals.

He joins Celtic on the same day they completed the signing of Ryan Christie from Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
