Andy Halliday has been left out of Rangers' Europa League squad amid reports his time at the club is up.

Halliday's name was among those omitted from the list submitted to UEFA before Thursday's qualifier against Progres Niederkorn of Luxembourg.

A report in Monday's Scottish Sun claimed the midfielder, a Gers fan, has been told by Pedro Caixinha he is free to leave on loan after two years at Ibrox.

The Rangers boss has brought in eight players this summer, and there is no place for Rob Kiernan, Matt Crooks, Harry Forrester, Michael O'Halloran or Joe Dodoo in the squad.

Seven of the eight new faces are in the squad, but winger Daniel Candeias misses out as his registration papers are yet to arrive from former club Alanyaspor.
