Inverness striker Richie Foran is relishing the visit of champions Rangers to Caledonian Stadium on Saturday.
Caley Thistle have made a bright start to life back in the SPL this season and now entertain Walter Smith's side this weekend.
The wintry weather has caused havoc to the fixtures of late, but Inverness' game is on and Foran is looking forward to the contest.
The Inverness captain insists the club has the utmost respect for Rangers although he is quietly confident they can get a result.
Not bad
"It's actually not too bad up here to be honest. The snow has cleared away, so things are looking good," he told
Sky Sports News.
"The pitch is fine. I spoke to the groundsman earlier and he says the pitch is in great nick so we're really looking forward to the game.
"We're been training indoors. We'd prefer to be on grass. We've been on grass for an hour today, so there will be no excuses come Saturday.
"We'll have a lot of respect for Rangers. They have some top players. It's a home game, we're very confident we can get the three points.
"Hopefully we'll feel all the more fresher having not played for two weeks."
Motivator
Foran also reserved special praise for Inverness manager Terry Butcher for his ability to get the best out of his players.
"He's a top man," he continued. "He gets a lot of credit for being a top motivator, but he's a great coach as well.
"Him and Maurice Malpas, they work really work well together.
"Some of his team talks before the game, they really make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.
"He's got fire for every game, whether it's Rangers or Celtic. He's up for every game and he makes sure it rubs off on everyone else."
