Drummond to be available on free transfer
Skysports.com understands Rangers goalkeeper Wayne Drummond is to leave Ibrox on a free transfer.
Drummond's current contract expires this summer and he has been informed he will not be getting a new deal.
The 19-year-old joined Rangers last summer from Millwall and was regarded as one for the future.
However, the Northern Ireland Under 21 international has been unable to break into the Rangers side with his path blocked by the number of keepers on the books at Ibrox.
Drummond's agent, Stephen Whelan, has confirmed the highly-rated keeper will be leaving Rangers this summer and that he is considering his options.
"Wayne will be leaving Rangers at the end of the season," Whelan told
skysports.com.
"Wayne has been unlucky that there are so many keepers ahead of him in the pecking order at Rangers.
"He now wants to move to a club where he can play regular first-team football and there has been interest shown in him by a number of clubs in England and Scotland."
