Chhetri and Lalpekhlua return to India after trials with Gers
Rangers manager Ally McCoist has confirmed he will continue to monitor the progress of trialists Sunil Chhetri and Jeje Lalpekhlua.
The pair have completed a stint training with the SPL champions, although no immediate bid will be made by the Light Blues.
McCoist liked what he saw from the duo, stating they showed 'lovely' touches along with 'adapting' to the different surroundings.
However, Gers will not be pushing through a deal for the Indian pair, who will remain on the Ibrox club's radar.
Monitor
"Sunil and Jeje did fine and showed up well in training," he told
Ibrox Edition.
"They showed some lovely touches and adapted to the different surroundings they experienced.
"They are away back home (on Friday) but we will keep monitoring their situations and keep monitoring their performances back home.
"They will continue to play for their sides in India and it was great to have them both working with us as they are talented boys.
"It was a good experience for them and I think they certainly enjoyed it. We enjoyed having them here too.
"Kenny and I watched them playing in the match (on Wednesday) and it was a really enjoyable game. They did absolutely fine."
Return
Chhetri thoroughly enjoyed his time in Glasgow and he says the pair would be willing to return next summer.
"As far as Jeje and I are concerned, if given a chance we would love to come back again. In the summer hopefully. It depends on what Mr McCoist says to our agents," he said.
"It is a huge club with a huge history. It is a big name to be attached with and, given the chance, we would love to be a part of it."
