Pittodrie winger hoping to win fresh Aberdeen terms

Aberdeen's out-of-contract winger Sone Aluko has confirmed he would like to stay at Pittodrie beyond the summer. The Nigerian starlet is one of a number of manager Craig Brown's squad whose deals expire at the end of the season. However, Aluko, along with Chris Maguire, has been identified by Brown as one of the players who he would like to retain. Aluko has now delivered news the fans want to hear after confirming he would be willing to pen fresh terms at Aberdeen. "I want to stay," confirmed Aluko. "My future needs to be sorted out so we'll have to discuss things." Aluko was part of the team which lost 4-0 to Celtic in the Scottish Cup on Sunday and he insists his team-mates are hurting. "The fans were superb. To see us lose 4-0 to Celtic must have been awful," he continued. "They were disappointed, but so were the players."
