Hearts' first two scheduled home fixtures of the season, against Motherwell and Kilmarnock, have been reversed to accommodate building work at Tynecastle, the SPFL have announced.

Hearts were scheduled to host Kilmarnock on August 8 but will now travel to Rugby Park on that date instead, with Kilmarnock travelling to Tynecastle on November 11.

Instead of hosting Motherwell on August 26, Hearts will now travel Fir Park on that date, with the return fixture now taking place at Tynecastle on December 12.

The fixtures have been switched to allow building work to be completed on Tynecastle's new main stand before it is officially opened in September.

Hearts first home match of the season is now scheduled for September 9 against Aberdeen.
