Kilmarnock forward Greg Kiltie has ended speculation about his future and signed a new two-and-a-half year contract.
The teenager had been linked with Rangers and Hibernian, with his deal due to run out at the end of January, but he has now committed his long-term future to the club.
He has been part of the Kilmarnock set-up since 2009 with their U12 side, and progressed to become a regular member of Gary Locke's squad this season, making a total of 22 appearances.
Kiltie told the club's website; "I am delighted to sign again with Kilmarnock.
"I have really enjoyed my time here and want to continue playing first team football and help the club finish as high up the table as possible whilst improving as a player.
"I am happy that the gaffer made it clear that he wanted to keep me at the club. He has given me my chance and has shown he believes in me by playing me in important games this season. I hope to repay him by doing well."
Locke admitted earlier in the week he feared losing the talented 18-year-old, who has scored twice this season, after he previously turned down a contract extension at Rugby Park.
"I am absolutely delighted to have signed Greg, it has been a long process but it is great that one of the best young talents in the game has committed his future to Killie," Locke said.
"I hope Greg continues to improve and develop as a player and performs as well as he has done for us for far this season."
